3-INGREDIENT HOMEMADE POPCORN

Me and my boyfriend are huge popcorn fans! Unfortunately, the famous popcorn in a box is known to be toxic. We don't even have a microwave at home so we had to find a way to make popcorn without harming our health. This homemade popcorn recipe is really simple and requires only a few ingredients. It takes fat (vegan butter, olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil are all good choices) and popcorn kernels. The key to make it good is when you cook it! You have to be alert and stay close so as not to burn the grains. Then the fun part comes with the toppings - sea salt, garlic salt, paprika, nutritional yeast, the possibilities are endless.


INGREDIENTS for 2 person

2-3 tbsp of Sea Salt Vegan Butter from LeGrand

About 1/3 cup popcorn kernels

Sea salt


STEPS

1. Start by melting the butter in a pan. Then, add the kernels, cover the pan and bring the heat to high. The kernels will start to pop. Leave on the stovetop until you don’t hear the kernels popping anymore (about 30 seconds). Remove from heat and pour in a large bowl. Add salt to taste or any other toppings you like & enjoy in front of a good movie.
