OATMEAL BOWL

If you follow me on social media, you already know this brekafast! Believe me, it will get you hooked too. This bowl of oatmeal is my favorite breakfast, especially in the winter - it's filling and comforting. Do not hesitate to substitute some ingredients (fruits, toppings) for your favorite ones.


INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup oats

1 tbsp flax seeds

1 tbsp chia seeds

Sprinkle of cinnamon

1/2 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk

1/2 cup filtered water

Fresh fruits

Silvered almonds

1 tbsp peanut butter


STEPS

1. In a small sauce pan, combine the oats, flax and chia seeds, non-dairy milk, water and sprinkle with cinnamon.

2. Cook on medium-high heat, uncovered, for about 7 minutes. Stir a few times to make sure it doesn't stick.

3. Remove from heat and let it sit for 2 minutes.

4. Pour the oatmeal in a bowl and add your toppings; fresh fruits, silvered almonds, peanut butter and sprinkle again with cinnamon.
