APPLE CRISP

One of my favorite desserts is a fruit crisp (it doesn't matter which fruit). Here, I'm using apples, but you could substitute any fruit of your choice (strawberry crisp, blueberry, etc.)


INGREDIENTS

2 cups of apples of choice, peeled, cored & diced

1 cup coconut sugar

1/2 cup melted Vegan Butter from LeGrand

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup quick oats

1/2 cup old fashioned oats

Dash of salt


STEPS

1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F.

2. In a bowl, mix the apples with half the sugar (1/2 cup). Pour in a baking dish.

3. In the same bowl, mix the remaining of sugar with the butter, flour, oats and salt. Combine until the mixture holds together when pressed. Cover the apples with the crumble.

4. Bake for about 50 minutes or until the crumble is golden and the apples are tender. Let cool 1h before serving.
