LASAGNA

If you hadn't already guessed, comfort food type meals are my favorite. I present to you my classic lasagna that is both easy and delicious - it will certainly remind you of your grandmother's lasagna! I love using Gusta Vegan Cheese and Veggie Ground to make my lasagna since they use simple ingredients. You could still use the vegan cheese and veggie ground of your choice for this recipe.


INGREDIENTS

1 box lasagna pasta

1 cup mushrooms, chopped

1 onion, finely chopped

2 garlic cloves, minced

2-3 tbsp olive oil for cooking

5 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 pack Veggie Ground from Gusta

1 block grated Vegan Cheese from Gusta

Salt and pepper


STEPS

1. In a large pan, saute the mushrooms, garlic and onion in olive oil for a few minutes. Then add the veggie ground. Cook for a few then add the marinara sauce. Season with salt and pepper.

2. In the meantime, cook pasta until al dente in a pot of boiling water.

3. Preheat the oven to 350 °F.

4. Prepare the lasagna by making layers as so: veggie sauce - pasta - veggie sauce - pasta, until there's nothing left. Cover with cheese.

5. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Enjoy.
